Amalaki Ekadashi Vrat Katha: Relationship between Amla and Bhagwan Vishnu
According to ancient stories, it’s believed that Bhagwan Vishnu created Bhagwan Brahma from his navel to bring the universe into existence. One day, Bhagwan Brahma deeply meditated to understand himself and his purpose. He devotedly chanted the name of Parabrahma, Bhagwan Vishnu. Pleased with his devotion, Bhagwan Vishnu appeared before him.
When Parabrahma appeared, Bhagwan Brahma was overwhelmed and tears of joy fell from his eyes, transforming into an Amla tree at Bhagwan Vishnu’s feet. Moved by this, Bhagwan Vishnu declared that this tree would hold special significance for him. He promised that any devotee who worships this tree on the day of Amalaki Ekadashi will attain salvation and be liberated from all sins.
