- Then, light a diya just in front of the idol, apply a tilak of kumkum, and offer sweets (Ganesh ji’s favourite laddoo and modak) and yellow vermillion.
- Bring durva grass (sacred grass), Bhagwan Ganesh’s favourite herb, to offer him.
- Recite the Bindayak Katha (Bhagwan Ganesh Katha) and perform Aarti
- Go to the temple and offer laddoo and modak bhog to Bhagwan Ganesha.
