What is Kala Sarpa Dosha?
Kala Sarpa is a specific planetary alignment such that all the planets fall between the Rahu and Ketu nodes of the moon in a person’s kundali which creates Kaal Sarp Doshas. There are 12 types of Kaal Sarp Doshas Anant Kaal, Kulika, Sheshnaag, Vishdhar, Vasuki, Shankpal, Padam, Karkotak, Mahapadma, Takshak, Shanka Chood and Ghatak.

Now that they were immortal, Bhagwan Vishnu had to create a spot for them, so he placed them in two specific points in the sky.
